Banal Rubbish

And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make...

Bye!

I've decided I'm going to switch to LiveJournal, at least for now. My address is www.livejournal.com/users/minnowdog1992. But I'm still going to work on www.ilovepesto.blogspot.com, so please check that blog often! And PLEASE comment!!

Blogger or LiveJournal?

Right now I'm basicly trying to decide whether I want to use Blogger or LiveJournal, because I think it's dumb to try to use both. Hmmm....

The concert!

I'm sure everyone has been waiting to see my post about it! Well, the reason I haven't been posting is I have a LiveJournal blog as well, and I've mostly been focusing on that. The address is http://www.livejournal.com/users/minnowdog1992/, if anyone wants to look at it.
The concert was fantastic!! The first half was Anoushka Shankar with eight or so other people, and then after intermission Ravi Shankar came on the stage and everybody cheered really loudly for him. It was just wonderful! Then he and Anoushka played together, and it was just incredible. The sitar is such an amazing instrument, you know?

Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love ya, tomorrow....

Do you know what is happening tomorrow? I am going to Cambridge to se Ravi Shankar! I can't wait! Right now I'm not feeling well; I'm actually kind of sick, but I'm going even if I'm deathly ill!
Fun!

This post is especially for my dear brother

I don't have much to say

Well, only that I HATE WRITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My writing class, I mean. It's alright when I do it because I want to, but not when people make me do it. I hate all my classes. I don't have time to do anything I want to do. I got this book out of the library that has all these pictures of different kinds of guitars. It's really funny because the book has markings all over it. The person who marked it all up added an exclamation point after "still in production" and drew little smiley faces and frowny faces next to characteristics of the Fender Telecaster. Apparently he is in favour of the "contoured body" but not the "Strat-like headstock".

Poem

I really like a book called "The Leaf and the Cloud", which is a really, really long poem by Mary Oliver. Here is my favourite part of the poem:

Later, the pollen shakes free.
Races this way and that way,
like a mist full of life, which it is.
We stand at the edge of the field, sneezing.
We praise God, or Nature, according to our determinations.

Then the grass curls or breaks, or we cut it.
What does it matter?
Do you think the grass is growing so wild and think for its own life?
Do you think the cutting is the ending, and not, also, a beginning?

This is the world.

Bad news

I am very sad because Audioblogger does not seem to be working, and I just figured out how to use it! I was also looking forward to playing my George Burroughs song for you. Oh, well. I have a ton of homework due tomorrow, sadly.
